Suart Burgin joined the Oscar Mayer Group in June as the newly appointed Chief Executive. He has already visited Ferndale Foods (one of three companies within the group) and was impressed with the investment made on the site and is excited by the opportunities for growth available to Ferndale Foods. As part of the revised group strategy in the ready meals sector there is likely to be an increase in volume of ready meals over the next few months to make better use of the capacity available at Ferndale Foods. Site personnel are now focussed on preparation for the new product launches that this will require.
